David Bolen

Mr. Bolen is the brainchild behind Reverse Dunk.  He was born  in Washington D.C. and fell in love with drums at a young age.  As a youngster he also lived in Germany (FDR & GDR), Ghana, Botswana. and Serbia. He is an internationally twice published award-winning author, speaker and former corporate business consultant.  Although he holds a degree in International Affairs, his unique background allows him to  approach his instrument with the ear of a producer and not just a drummer.  As a result, he has performed at notable venues in Las Vegas and at the Monterey Blues Festival to name just a few.  He performs with some of the world's finest musicians across multiple genres:

 Joel Clifft

Joel Clifft earned his doctoral degree from the University of Southern California.  He was chosen as the “Most Outstanding Graduate” at both the Master’s and Doctoral levels and in addition, was a recipient of the Gwendolyn Koldofsky scholarship. 

    As an active collaborative pianist, Dr. Joel Clifft has performed in concert with many world-class musicians, including violinist Midori, erhu player, Ma Xiao Hui and clarinetist, Ken Grant. He has extensive international performance experience, appearing in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Brazil, Korea, China and Singapore. He also performed a solo and collaborative program at the United Nations in New York. 

    Dr. Clifft is Director of Keyboard Studies at Azusa Pacific University, where he teaches piano, music theory, accompanying and ear training courses. He is also an adjunct faculty member at USC where he teaches collaborative piano.  In addition, he has served as a judge for many competitions, including MTAC and MTNA, local, regional and state competitions. 

     As a software developer, Dr. Clifft created Music Theory Pro, an iPhone app for music education. The app teaches Music Theory and Ear Training using cutting-edge technology. To date, the app has received more than 120,000 downloads. In 2013 Music Theory Pro was expanded to mac computers and iPads and a second app, Jazz Chords Pro, was released during the same year. A third app, Music Theory Professor, is expected to release later this year.  

Vlad Colesnicov

Vlad Colesnicov was born the Republic of Moldova. He started learning classical guitar at the age of 8. At 15 he already took part in local and international music contests in Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Greece. A few years later he easily entered the best musical college in Moldova and studied jazz, pop, rock music.  During that time he also met many well known musicians and started his stage career.  At the age of 20 he performed in the Life Model Project and in 2005 he was featured at the Ethno Jazz festival.   From that moment forward he started working with famous jazz musicians at festivals in Moldova, Ukraine, Romania. In 2006 he was offered a contract from one of Europe's  finest  entertainment companies, Cirque Arlette Gruss.  During the last 15 years Vlad performed all across Europe in live shows in front of the huge audience of 50.000 people with international level artists such as: O-Zone, Dan Balan, Sasha Lopez, Carla's Dreams

With over 10 years of studio recording experience Vlad  now calls Denver, Colorado home.  He has established a reputation as the player of choice amongst Denver area musicians,

Hilliard Scott

Hilliard Scott grew up in Colorado Springs and began playing bass in his youth with a successful band known for their professional and tight performances.  He attended the University of Colorado where he studied engineering.  He has also taken courses with Berklee School of Music.

     His endeavors with music expanded into becoming a radio host. He was credited with being the first DJ in the country to play Prince's, debut album and the song, Soft and Wet.  He and Prince together successfully confronted the FCC when the agency tried to ban the song.  Hilliard was also offered a spot on bass with Stevie Wonder's band.  However, Hilliard decided to pursue his education which ultimately led to a patent for his design of software used on the NASA Space Shuttle.  His creative skills allow him to succeed in many endeavors.  

      As a design engineer, he designed and built his own top notch custom one-of-kind six string bass and speaker cabinets.  He is versatile in all aspects of life and uses his intellect and personality to excel in all pursuits.

Donnie Yance

While being internationally recognized for developing a unique approach to health and healing,  His extraordinary talents as a healer have landed him multiple appearances on nationally televised shows such as, Martha Stewart,  However, Donnie’s longstanding interest is music.  He started playing the bass and studying privately at age 14.  He has studied the greats and especially continues to be inspired by close friends, Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Stanley Clark. and composer/singer Gino Vanelli.     He is honored to have toured with many popular R&B, Jazz, Funk and Gospel bands on the East Coast.  He has played and composed original music for Reverse Dunk and  with the band, "Infusion" (InfusionUSA.com), which released, Under the Sun, a CD of original compositions and which opened for Earth, Wind, and Fire at the Britt Festival.  Presently, he is also the bassist in the bands, Jeff K and Overtones and Pacifica 101.  Mr. Yance seasons the musical broth with flavors from a jazz tradition that includes his favorite artist, John Coltrane.       visit: http://www.donnieyance.com/donnies-bio/

Tony Hayes

Jack is one of the world's finest guitarists. He has his own identifiable style and sound.  His signature tone has been recorded and he has performed in the Los Angeles area and in the Pacific Northwest. He has been the choice for many original acts, solo artists and cover bands, varying from rock, R&B, funk, Latin, Jazz, and country.  Jack opened for Los Lonely Boys, and the legendary Robben Trower, and John Mayall performing his originals.  He is a sought after instructor having students online as well as giving lessons in person.  In his free time he enjoys developing his martial arts.

Tony Hayes was born in NC and grew up in Charlotte. He moved to Boston on a music scholarship to study saxophone at Berklee College of music. He  has since performed nationally and internationally with tours to France, Germany, Switzerland and extended tours to Japan. Mr. Hayes has lived in Los Angeles and South Beach Florida where he played various shows including "Phantom of the Opera" and other theatrical shows which took him to Las Vegas and San Francisco as a singer, actor and sax player.  As an educator, Tony taught at the Faunt School of Creative Music and at Soutern Oregon University.   In addition, Mr. Hayes has collaborated with Grammy winning percussionist Bobby Thomas, Jr. formerly of the world renowned fusion group, Weather Report.  Mr. Hayes has also released multiple jazz CDs,  "Bopulosyntricity", 'Islands' and also a jazz vocal CD and video in New York City called 'Live Your Life'. Jazz critic, Don Henley, wrote, "Another high point of the program was delivered by saxophonist Hayes, a gifted instrumentalist...Hayes, not yet a well-known figure in the jazz world, is one who will, nonetheless, be heard from in the future. Remember his name."
